The “Haggak Ta’ref” Platform is an official electronic platform established in 2018 as a media unit at the Prime Ministry. It was subsequently transferred to the Jordan News Agency (Petra) before being transferred back to the Ministry of Government Communication in 2024.
The Platform verifies information and proactively provides it to media outlets and their audiences with accuracy, transparency, and speed, thereby helping to prevent the spread of rumors and foster a culture of verifying information before its publication and circulation. This is achieved through close follow-up by the Platform’s team, media spokespersons, and platform liaison officers, who work collectively to monitor and receive information through a professional inquiry process that ultimately leads to debunking or confirming it.
